About Madison Whitbeck
A dynamic and determined performer from Leesburg, Virginia, Madison Whitbeck is a passionate advocate for accessible arts education through her Community Service Initiative, Arts For All. At just 20 years old, she’s already making waves as a Commercial Voice major at Belmont University in Nashville,Tennessee, where she’s pursuing a double emphasis in Performance and Music Business.
When she’s not in class or the studio, Madison serves as a vocal coach and producer with Ignite the Light Performing Arts and works as a sales associate at Pure Barre, where she combines her love of movement, women’s wellness and philanthropy. As part of her personal commitment to fitness and the Miss America mission of health, she starts most days at 5 a.m. for a Pure Barre class and has organized benefit events that raised over $1,500 for the American Heart Association.
An accomplished vocalist and performer, Madison has been featured in the nationally broadcast Christmas at Belmont on Amazon Prime, performed in over 30 productions, and is a member of Belmont’s elite country music ensemble, Southbound. Her dream is to one day win the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical.
Madison’s accomplishments extend beyond the stage. As Miss Arlington, she delivered over 15 Global Game Changers presentations, reaching more than 500 students. As Miss Virginia, she'll visit more than 70 elementary schools across the Commonwealth as part of the Miss Virginia School Tour, sponsored by the Virginia AlcoholicBeverage Control Authority. She’ll promote healthy choices and substance abuse prevention while incorporating the importance of participating in the arts to help young people improve their self-esteem.
A self-described novice impressionist and opera enthusiast learning Italian, French and German, Madison is full of surprises. She’s a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, has sung the national anthem at a professional rugby match and was recently interviewed for American Dream TV.
